  I got tired of going to home depot, kragen, best buy and radio shack only to end up at Sandy's because others didn't have what I was looking for. So now I just go there first and save the gas. Last purchase was a universal AC adapter for an older mp3/ipod player - no one else had the voltage/connector setup required. At Sandy's - no problem son, right over there on aisle 4...... I love this place.

  Now that Sandy's is under new ownership, it's a whole differnet and positive experience. The staff is happy to help and they have a wide variety of electronic parts. Their new location on S. Virginia is very large and I look forward to their planned expansion.

  I always enjoyed browsing around and I found the staff helpful. For many years I've depended on Sandy's for local goods that would otherwise have to be purchased online. I stopped by today to find the store shut down :( . Another Reno icon is gone.
